CGS-CIMB rolls out Vietnam ETF on SGX

The ETF can raise around $35m.

CGS-CIMB launched the CGS Fullgoal Vietnam 30 Sector Cap Exchange-Traded Funds (ETF) on the Singapore Stock Exchange which can raise up to $35m.

In a statement, CGS-CIMB said the ETF is composed of the largest and most tradeable firms on the Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange.

“The ETF combines the expertise of CGS-CIMB and Fullgoal, to provide an unparalleled investment opportunity into one of Asia’s fastest-growing markets. As its Investment Manager and Broker, CGS-CIMB aims to empower investors seeking higher and stable returns in Vietnam with enhanced access to financial opportunities and comprehensive market insights,” said CGS-CIMB Securities Group CEO Carol Fong.

The Vietnam-focused ETF is overweight on sectors such as real estate, financial, and consumer staples, closely replicating the SGX iEdge Vietnam 30 Sector Cap.

Some of the companies included in the ETF are Vinhomes, Hoa Phat Group, and SSI Securities Corporation.
