DBS prices Temasek's dual-tranche offshore CNY bonds

The bonds were priced at fixed rates of 2.75% and 3.10% per annum.

DBS has priced Temasek’s 10-year (T2034-CNH) and 30-year (T2054-CNH) offshore CNY bonds under the US$25b Guaranteed Global Medium Term Note Programme.

The 10-year tranche, T2034-CNH, valued at CNH1b was priced at a 2.75% fixed rate per annum, due 28 August 2034.

Meanwhile, the 30-year tranche T2054-CNH worth CNH1.7b was priced at a 3.10% fixed rate per annum, due 28 August 2054.

The bonds will be issued by Temasek’s financial arm, Temasek Financial (I). Net proceeds from the issuance will be provided to Temasek and its investment holding companies to fund their ordinary course of business.

DBS and Standard Chartered are the bookrunners for the transaction.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
