Digital Core REIT to acquire add'l interest in Frankfurt facility

The group currently holds 49.9% interest in the data centre. 

Digital Core REIT Management, through its subsidiary Singapore Sub 5, intends to acquire an additional interest in Frankfurt Facility located in Wilhelm-Fay-Straße 15 and 24 in Frankfurt, Germany.

The total acquisition cost for the proposed acquisition is estimated to be between approximately US$1.1m ($1.4m) and US$213m ($277.6m)

The group currently holds a 49.9% interest in the freehold data centre. 

Digital Core REIT will make a subsequent announcement on the actual amount of the interest to be acquired in the Frankfurt Facility, taking into account prevailing market conditions.

The proposed acquisition is expected to be approximately 1.7% accretive to Digital Core REIT’s annual distribution per unit (DPU) at the 10% acquisition amount.
