This increases his total interest in the company to 75.29%. 

Hiap Hoe Limited executive chairman Teo Ho Beng acquired an additional 500,000 shares in the group for $287,500, according to a bourse filing. 

His total interest in the group is now 75.29%, versus 75.18% previously.

The total number of ordinary voting shares of Hiap Hoe Limited in issue is 470,557,541 shares, excluding the 3,999,850 treasury shares.
