Jardine Cycle & Carriage investigates unusual share price movement

The company said it's "not aware" of any possible explanation for the trading.

Jardine Cycle & Carriage Limited has already investigated the unusual price movement of its shares following queries from SGX RegCo.

The company said they currently are "not aware of any information nor previously announced concerning JC&C or its subsidiaries or associated companies, which, if known, might explain the trading."

JC&C, however, noted that Jardine Matheson Holdings Limited, a majority shareholder in the company, made an off-market share purchase of 80,.000 shares on 21 April, but such "did not trigger any disclosure obligations by them, hence, nod disclose was made."

The company also assured the board that it remains in compliance with the listing rules, particularly the Mainboard Rule 703.
