Jardine Matheson underlying profit soars 45% YoY in H1 2025

Jardine Matheson Holdings (JMH) reported an underlying profit of $1b (US$798m), up 45% year-on-year, for the first half of the financial year 2025.
This has resulted in earnings of $685m (US$528m) for the period, a rebound from a loss a year ago.
Amidst improved results from most of its businesses, the group’s revenue declined 1% YoY to $22b (US$17.1b).
The board has proposed an interim dividend of $0.77 (US$0.60) per share.
