SGX Catalist firms reap $553m in secondary fundraisings in 2014

Check out which companies raised the most.

Thirty-one companies listed on Catalist raised a total of S$553 million in secondary fundraisings last year. This represents one-fifth of the 155 listed Catalist companies as at April 2015.

According to SGX, the top 10 Catalist companies which have raised the highest amount via secondary equity fundraising efforts have averaged a 6.1% gain in the year thus far. The best performers were Halcyon Agri Corporation, Armarda Group, KLW Holdings, Alpha Energy Holdings, and GSS Energy.

The five Catalist stocks that raised the highest amount via secondary equity fundraisings in 2014 were REX International Holding, Alpha Energy Holdings, KLW Holdings, Singapore eDevelopment, and Communication Design International. The operations of these five companies are widely diverse – associated with Oil & Gas, Technology, Materials, Advertising, and Construction and Engineering respectively.
