Singapore has been ranked among the world’s top crypto hubs in the newly released Crypto-Friendly Cities Index 2025, part of Multipolitan’s Crypto Report 2025: The Future is Onchain.

The city-state placed fourth globally, following Ljubljana, Hong Kong, and Zurich, underscoring its position as a leading destination for digital asset innovation and crypto wealth.

Launched by global migration platform Multipolitan, the report maps the evolving landscape of blockchain adoption and digital finance, spotlighting cities that combine progressive regulation, strong infrastructure, and a vibrant tech ecosystem.

Singapore’s inclusion in the top tier reflects its long-standing commitment to fintech development and regulatory clarity.

The report highlighted a seismic generational shift in financial behavior, with Millennials and Gen Z adopting crypto at rates up to three times higher than Baby Boomers.

These younger cohorts are driving demand for decentralized finance (DeFi), tokenized assets, and digital identities — reshaping how wealth is created, managed, and moved across borders.

It also explored how countries like Estonia, South Korea, and Palau are pioneering blockchain governance models, whilst cities such as Zug, Dubai, and Singapore are emerging as testbeds for tokenized economies and crypto-first public services.

A standout insight: tokenized real-world assets are forecast to unlock a US$2t opportunity by 2030, transforming traditional finance and attracting institutional support from firms like BlackRock and Goldman Sachs.
