Jason Chang, chairman of ASE Technology Holding, is the country’s richest, ranking 204th globally with a net worth of $18.18b (US$14.2b).
Li Xiting, co-founder and chairman of Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics, ranks 284th globally with a net worth of $15.13b (US$11.82b).
Philip Ng and his brother Robert Ng, ranked 542nd and 557th globally with net worths of $9.22b (US$7.2b) and $9.09b (US$7.1b), respectively, control Far East Organization, Singapore’s largest private property developer and landlord.
Globally, the billionaire population reached a record 3,428, with their combined net worth hitting $25.73t (US$20.1t).
Elon Musk retained the top spot with a net worth of $1.07t (US$839b).
Other top billionaires include Larry Page with $328.96b (US$257b), Sergey Brin with $303.36b (US$237b), Jeff Bezos with $286.72b (US$224b), and Mark Zuckerberg with $284.16b (US$222b).
