Thakral records highest-ever net profit in H1

The board has declared an interim dividend of $0.2 per share.

Thakral Corporation has recorded its highest-ever net profit attributable to shareholders of $109.3m during the first half of the year, up by 912.12% from $10.8m.

The company attributes this to an increase in revenue of 25% year on year to $160.5m as GemLife completes its Initial Public Offering on the Australian Stock Exchange.

The group’s lifestyle business also saw revenue grow due to strong, continued demand in China for the group’s beauty and fragrance products.

The board has declared an interim dividend of $0.2 per share and a special interim dividend of $0.1 per share.
