Earnings per share also dropped from $2.24 to $1.32.
Wing Tai Holdings reported a 50% drop in net profit attributable to shareholders to $10.19m from $20.54m.
Revenue increased 15% but the cost of sales went up 43% to $62.5m
The increase in other gains – net is mainly due to lower net foreign exchange loss whilst the decrease in distribution expenses is largely due to lower marketing expenses incurred for development projects and lower rental for retail stores.
Diluted earnings per share dropped to $1.32 from $2.24.
