Niks Professional records a 2.2% revenue decline due to weak China sales

This was due to weaker sales in China.

Niks Professional’s revenue declined by 2.2% YoY to $10.85m in FY23 from $11.10m in FY22 due to weaker sales in China.

Revenue in the headquarters segment also declined 21.4% YoY to 1.38m in FY23 driven by the 25.6% YoY decline in China sales to $1.58m. The decline in sales was due to lower consumer confidence.

Payroll expenses also increased by 7.7% to $4.77m in FY23 from $4.43m in FY22 due to doctor and management hires for their expansion plans.

Meanwhile, the company’s clinic and retail operations in Singapore reported a YoY revenue growth of 1.9% and 6.4% respectively in FY2023.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
