Beng Kuang Marine forms new business for niche field in the oil and gas industry

The new business will provide specialised industrial chemical cleaning services.

Beng Kuang Marine Limited has announced an internal restructuring and rebranding exercise to streamline service offerings across the group’s onshore and offshore engineering activities within its Infrastructure Engineering business division.

As part of this move, the group formed Clean Concept Works Pte Ltd (CCW), a new business in the niche field of specialised industrial chemical cleaning.

CCW will initially focus on chemical cleaning and hot oil flushing services, which are essential pre-commissioning and maintenance processes for Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessels.

These specialised procedures play a critical role in safeguarding the performance, reliability, and lifespan of vital fluid systems, including piping, hydraulics, and lubrication circuits, ensuring they operate seamlessly within the demanding offshore environment of FPSOs.

The group also disclosed that CCW was formed with Chew See Choon, an industry veteran who brings over 20 years of expertise in chemical cleaning, hot oil flushing, and waste treatment, backed by a proven track record in operations, compliance, and business growth across diverse industries.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
