DCS Card Centre launches Visa card with three rewards options

Cardholders can choose either investment credits, miles rewards, or cash rebates.

DCS Card Centre had launched the DCS FLEX Card in Singapore, its first Visa credit card.

It is an entry-level credit card and offers cardholders three reward options to choose from: miles, cash rebates, or investment credits. The ability to switch between reward options will be introduced soon.

FLEX cardholders can earn up to 8% investment credits, automatically credited to their designated iFast accounts. They can also earn up to 2.4 miles per dollar spent, or an 8% cash rebate.

Cardholders may also choose between 4 card designs. The cards are made of 82% recycled plastic.

An option to donate reward earnings towards environmental causes as carbon credits will be introduced soon.

The FLEX Card is designed for young professionals, a generation which values independence and responsible financial management, said Lionel Lee, managing director of consumer cards at DCS Card Centre.

“Many at this stage of their lives are not only saving but also looking to invest early to build wealth,” Lee said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
