Frencken Group profit rises 9.9% YoY to $19.9m in H1 2025

Revenue of the group also grew 15.7% YoY.

Frencken Group has reported a higher attributable profit of $19.9m in the first half of 2025 (H1 2025), up 9.9% from $18.1m recorded in the same period a year ago.

The group’s revenue increased by 15.7% year-on-year (YoY) to $431.4m in H1 2025.

The revenue growth is partially due to the improvements in the group’s Mechatronics Division, which saw revenue rise 19% YoY to $389.3m in H1 2025.

According to Frencken, this was driven by higher revenue contributions from the semiconductor, medical, and industrial automation segments, which offset a dip in revenue from the analytical life sciences segment.

For H1 2025, the semiconductor segment’s revenue grew 37.5% YoY to $215.7m. This was attributed mainly to stable sales growth to a key customer in Europe and a rebound in sales from the Asia operations.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

If you've been wondering whether SBR could work for your company — yes, probably.

A lot of the companies we partner with started as readers. They'd been following our coverage for a while, saw their own customers and competitors in it, and eventually asked the obvious question: could we do something with you? The answer is usually yes. The shape of it depends on what you're trying to do.

The options are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. Some partners use one channel; most use a mix. We figure out the right combination by starting with your brief, not with our rate card.

So if the question has been on your mind, here's the easy way to ask it.

We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how. It's a better use of everyone's time.
