Gamuda wins $1.01b land tender in Singapore
It will comprise up to 875 residential units.
Gamuda Bhd has secured a Housing Development Board (HDB) land parcel in Singapore worth $1.012b (RM3.31b).
The tender, awarded on 26 September and accepted on 29 September, was submitted by Gamuda’s wholly owned subsidiary Gamuda (Singapore) Pte Ltd together with Evia MCS Pte Ltd and H108 Pte Ltd.
The land will be acquired through joint-venture companies Polaris Times Square Residences Pte Ltd and Times Square Mall Pte Ltd.
The proposed development will comprise up to 875 residential units and 135,625 sq ft of commercial space, alongside a bus interchange, retail facilities, and a hawker centre.
Gamuda said the project is expected to contribute positively to earnings and shareholder value, with completion targeted within 84 months.
