Healthcare magnate Li Xiting is SG's richest in 2022: Forbes

He has a net worth of US$15.6b.

Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Founder and Chairman --- Li Xiting --- was named the richest individual in Singapore in 2022 by Forbes Magazine.

According to Forbes, Li has a net worth of US$15.6b. Li also ranked 94th in the magazine's list of riches billionaires worldwide.

In second place were brothers Robert and Philip Ng of Singapore's largest private landlord and property developer, Far East Organisation. The brothers have a combined net worth of US$15.2b.

Completing the top five were Goh Cheng Liang of Japan's Nippon Paint Holdings with a net worth of US$13b, Facebook co-founder Eduardo Saverin (US$9.6b), and Kwek Leng Beng and his family (US$9.3b).

Kwek serves as executive chairman for  Hong Leong Group and City Developments.

According to Forbes, the combined wealth of Singapore's 50 richest dropped by more than a fifth (20%) to US$164b due to rising inflation and the global tech rout.
