Igloo strengthens APAC presence with Eazy Digital acquisition

The deal adds Thailand operations, clients, and software capabilities across Asia.

Igloo is expanding its insurer technology platform across Asia through the acquisition of Singapore-based insurtech Eazy Digital, according to a company statement.

Under the deal, Eazy Digital's client base and Thailand team will be integrated into Igloo, where Harprem Doowa has been appointed Country Head of Igloo Thailand and Head of Tech Solutions APAC.

The acquisition strengthens Igloo's Tech Solutions business, which provides insurers and consumer platforms with technology for product configuration, underwriting, claims processing, and insurance distribution.

Founded in 2022, Eazy Digital develops software that helps insurers and brokers digitise agent management, automate operations and improve sales productivity.

Its customers include Bangkok Insurance, Chubb, Tokio Marine Safety Insurance (Thailand), Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., Marsh McLennan's Taiwan business, and Falcon Insurance.

Igloo said the acquisition follows its 2025 joint venture with JMT Network Services, a subsidiary of Jaymart Group, to establish a digital insurer in Thailand.

The company said the acquisition expands its technology offering as insurers seek to modernise legacy systems and shorten product launch timelines.

"This is an opportunity for Eazy to take our platform's success and amplify it with the resources, technology, and reach of one of Southeast Asia's largest insurtechs," Doowa said.

Co-founder and CEO Raunak Mehta said the acquisition gives partners across Asia access to the company's technology platform whilst strengthening its presence in Thailand.
