Keppel Group, Sovico Group partner to roll-out energy solutions

The companies signed two MoUs for a large-scale decarbonisation in Vietnam.

The Keppel Group and Sovico Group have signed two memoranda of understanding (MoU) to roll-out energy and environmental solutions for the large-scale decarbonisation in Vietnam.

Under the agreement, the companies are also expected to collaborate in the development of smart and sustainable projects in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi in Vietnam.

“The signing of the two MOUs is very much in line with Keppel's Vision 2030, where we seek to provide solutions for sustainable urbanisation, including energy and environmental solutions, as well as masterplanning and the development of smart and sustainable cities," Loh Chin Hua, CEO of Keppel Corporation, said.

The MoU was signed on 25 February 2022. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Nguyen Xuan Phuc, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, during his state visit in Singapore.

Keppel Infrastructure Holdings, through Keppel Energy Ventures, will focus on scalable decarbonization solutions, such as electrification of vehicles, and charging infrastructure, smart microgrids, and sustainable energy-from-waste amongst others.

The companies will also explore Vietnam’s energy potential for the development of sustainable fuel for sectors, like power, industrial, maritime transportation, and aviation.

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.
The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.
If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
