MSIG Insurance has unveiled a new personal accident plan that offers 360-degree protection with coverage spanning essential, recovery support, and lifestyle support benefits.

PA RecoveryPlus pays out in the event of accidental death or permanent disability and covers essential benefits such as daily hospital income and reimbursement for medical investments.

  • Home and Car Modification Expenses: Up to $10,000 for home or car modifications including purchase of homecare equipment in the event of permanent disability.
  • Home Nursing and Domestic Support Fund: Up to $3,000 cash after discharge from hospital to help defray the cost of services required during recuperation such as nursing treatment at home, meal delivery, laundry service and hiring of temporary domestic help.
  • Cosmetic Procedure Expenses: Up to $3,000 to relieve financial stress if cosmetic procedures for face and neck are required after an accident.
  • Permanent Caregiver Grant: Up to $1,000 to cover agency fees for hiring a caregiver or domestic helper because of permanent disability.
  • Petcare Allowance: Up to $1,200 to cover the cost of hiring an animal professional to care for your pet during your hospitalisation.
  • Fitness and Sports Membership Fees: Up to $300 for unused fitness and sports memberships or facility charges while you are recuperating.

There are three tiers of benefits under PA RecoveryPlus plan with premiums starting from $225.09 annually or at $19.19 a month.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
