NeraTel reports $1.8m net loss for H1 2025

This was due to foreign exchange adjustments and transitional restructuring costs.

Nera Telecommunications Ltd (NeraTel) has reported a revenue of $44.7m and a net loss of $1.8m for the first half of 2025.

According to its bourse filing, the net loss was largely attributable to foreign exchange adjustments and transitional restructuring costs.

Revenue also declined by 5.5% compared to the previous year. This was primarily due to a recalibration in the service provider segment, which saw a strategic shift in focus as part of ongoing efforts to diversify NeraTel’s segment mix and enhance long-term growth potential.

The group secured approximately $40.3m in order intake for H1 2025, a decrease of 47.5% as compared to $76.8m in H1 2024.

NeraTel's gross profit for H1 2025 was $9.3m, with the group maintaining a gross profit margin of 20.7%, demonstrating continued operational efficiency amid reduced operating expenditure.

The group said a notable achievement was the 20% reduction in operating expenses, driven by disciplined cost management across distribution, selling, and administrative functions, positioning the group for leaner and more agile operations.
