Scoot expands global services by launching Dohop-powered booking platform

The platform enables customers to book self-connect itineraries.

Scoot, the low-budget subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, has launched its virtual interline platform developed in collaboration with Dohop, a travel solutions technology company.

This interline technology enables airlines to form flexible partnerships quickly, complementing traditional interline and codeshare agreements.

With the integration of Scoot and Dohop, customers starting their searches from Scoot’s website (flyscoot.com) can seamlessly connect to the new platform (dohoppowered.flyscoot.com) that will allow them to book self-connect itineraries where one leg of the journey is operated by Scoot and the other by a partner airline.

According to Scoot, through its initial partners easyJet and Citilink, customers can now book flights from Singapore to over 30 additional destinations across Europe and Indonesia, complementing Scoot’s network of 70 international destinations.

“This collaboration with Dohop enables our customers to explore a wider range of destinations with ease, and we look forward to building on this momentum and working with additional airline partners to unlock even more travel opportunities for our customers, at the same great value,” Calvin Chan, Chief Commercial Officer of Scoot, said.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
