Singapore Energy Interconnections, Kim Heng ink MoU on submarine power projects

The MoU will remain in force until 1 June 2028.

Singapore Energy Interconnections (SGEI) and Kim Heng Limited have entered into a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to operate, repair, and maintain submarine power cable systems installed within the ASEAN region.

SGEI is a newly incorporated government-linked company that specialises in developing and operating cross-border power interconnectors, enabling cross-border electricity trade, and supporting the realisation of the ASEAN Power Grid.

The MoU will remain in force until 1 June 2028 or until definitive or mutual agreements to terminate it are executed.
