Singapore scores the most investment deals in Southeast Asia in Q2 2025
Of the 73 deals in the region in Q2, 33 were in Singapore.
Singapore scored the highest number of private capital investment deals in Southeast Asia in the second quarter of 2025, according to data from the latest report of the Global Private Capital Association (GPCA).
Of the 73 investment deals recorded in the region in Q2 2025, 33 of them were in Singapore.
During that period, a total of $3.86b (US$2.99b) from the $7.01b (US$5.437b) investments in Southeast Asia were accounted for under Singapore.
According to GPCA, investment across Southeast Asia rose to $14.3b (US$11.1b) in H1 2025, nearly tripling year-on-year.
Notable transactions in the region during this period were the buyout of Malaysia Airports, Seraya Partners’ commitment to its data centre platform Empyrion Digital and Actis’ acquisition of MTerra Solar.
