Soup Holdings profit up 34% YoY in H1
Revenue for the period decreased by 6.3%.
Soup Holdings has reported a profit attributable to owners of the company of $224,000 in the first half of 2025 (H1 2025), an increase of 34.1% year on year (YoY).
The group’s revenue in H1 2025 was $19.4m, 6.3% lower compared to the recorded $20.7m revenue in H1 2024.
By segment, revenue from the restaurant operations segment decreased primarily due to the closure of three outlets and three cloud kitchens. This is in line with the group’s strategy of evaluating underperforming outlets, retaining and refocusing on those with turnover potential, whilst exiting operations that no longer align with the group’s targets.
Revenue from existing outlets also declined, but these decreases were partially offset by the contribution from a new outlet that opened at the beginning of the financial year 2025.
Revenue from the food processing, distribution, and procurement services segment also declined due to the expiration of contracts for the supply of ready meals through the central kitchen.
According to the group’s report, profit before income tax was maintained at approximately $237,000. Earnings per share stood at 0.08 cents in H1 2025.
