Top Glove profit soars 222% to $21.4m in 9MFY2025
For 3QFY2025, PATAMI rose 17% QoQ to $10.5m.
Top Glove Corporation Bhd reported a 222% increase in profit after tax and minority interests (PATAMI), reaching $21.4m (RM71 m) for the nine months ended 31 May 2025 (9MFY2025), driven by strong sales volume and improved cost controls.
The group also recorded revenue of (RM2.6b) for the period, a 55% rise compared to 9MFY2024, whilst sales volume grew by 65% year-on-year.
For the third quarter (3QFY2025), PATAMI rose 17% quarter-on-quarter to $10.5m (RM35m), even as revenue softened 6% to $250m (RM830m).
Sales volume continued its upward trend, increasing 4% from the previous quarter.
Top Glove also saw lower raw material costs during the quarter, with average natural latex concentrate prices falling 9% and nitrile latex prices down 4% quarter-on-quarter.
