Yangzijiang Financial anchors $100m fund for SG small and mid-cap firms

It will invest across stages from pre-IPO to post-listing.

Yangzijiang Financial Holding Ltd. will be the anchor investor in a $100m fund launched by ICH Asset Management to back Singapore’s small and mid-cap companies.

The fund will invest across stages from pre-IPO to post-listing, with deployment set to begin in September. Initial targets include firms in technology, healthcare, sustainability, and consumer services.

The move follows the Monetary Authority of Singapore’s $5b Equity Market Development Programme, which has allocated $1.1b to support small and mid-cap stocks.

Yangzijiang said the initiative will strengthen its investment management business and diversify income streams, whilst ICHAM will provide local market expertise.
