SAL unveils leadership playbook for legal professionals
It provides frameworks, tools, and resources for practitioners across all career stages and roles.
The Singapore Academy of Law (SAL) has launched its Legal Leadership Playbook to strengthen leadership skills across the legal sector.
The guide has been endorsed by the Human Capital Leadership Institute (HCLI).
It sets out frameworks, tools, and resources intended for use by legal professionals at different career stages and across various roles.
Developed with input from legal and leadership practitioners, it is positioned to support both new managers and senior executives.
The material draws on existing leadership content, including SAL’s Legal Leadership Programme run with INSEAD and courses led by Professor Patrick Gibbons, a visiting professor at Nanyang Business School.
SAL describes the Playbook as a “living document” and is inviting contributions from across the legal sector, including groups such as the Law Society of Singapore and the Singapore Corporate Counsel Association, to add case studies and practical insights in future versions.
