Is the land parcel worth the minimum bid of $56.5 million?

The land area covers roughly 0.3 hectares with an estimated gross floor area of 13,004 sqm., according to the Urban Redevelopment Authority, which announced the sale by public tender.

It is located in the Historic District of Little India, which has a thriving crafts industry, and near Farrer Park MRT Station. Access to the Central Business District at Raffles Place and Marina Bay is described to be "easy".

The bidding will close on April 17, 200 at 12 noon, with the higest tendered land price counting above the minimum $56.5 million as the primary selection criteria.
