Bidadari, Tampines North housing plan to yield 32,000 homes

According to Minister for National Development Khaw Boon Wan and Senior Minister of State Lee Yi Shyan, MND is planning to develop 4 new areas over the next 5 years. Opening of new towns offers greater latitude in design and planning resulting in each new town being an improvement over older ones like Punggol New Town.

HDB will soon unveil plans for Bidadari and Tampines North which are expected to yield 32,000 new homes. Tengah can be developed to be a Township of the Future.

These were announced in the Budget 2013 debate.
