Chart of the Day: 37% of residential investments are from en bloc sales

En bloc fever boosted the total to $21.7b.

This chart from Colliers International shows collective sales made up 37% of the total private residential investment sales, boosting its total to to $21.7b.

Public land sales also made up a significant portion of the total at 22%. The boost in public land sales was mainly due to the award of two pricey residential Government Land Sales (GLS) sites in the prime districts of 9 and 10.

Meanwhile, other sales belonged in the categories of landed housing at 12%, strata at 13%, and development sites and good class bungalows at 4% each.
