Chart of the Day: Commercial shophouse market valued at $282m

PropNex said market activity was muted with 31 transactions.

Commercial shophouse transactions were subdued in the final quarter of 2022, with 31 caveated transactions, said PropNex.

This chart showed that the total value of the shophouse market was at $282m whilst there is limited supply.

More than 900 rental contracts worth $8.9m were inked in the last quarter of 2022.

Shophouse median rentals in Q4 grew to $5.89 per square foot monthly amidst tight occupancy rates in the shophouse sector.
