Chart of the day: Foreigners bought more new condos than resale in 2022

The percentage of foreigner new sales grew to 6.7%.

This chart from OrangeTee shows the number of new condos versus resale condos bought by foreigners from 2019 to 2022.

The chart reveals that compared to 2021, foreigners bought more new condos than resale condos from January to August this year..

The chart also shows that sales volume of new and resale condos by foreigners dropped in 2022 compared to a year before.
