Chart of the day: Which non-mature estates saw the highest resale transactions in Q1?

The towns with the most transactions are Woodlands, Jurong West and Yishun.

This chart from OrangeTee&Tie showed that amongst non-mature estates, HDB resale applications for standard flats in Woodlands surged the most by 40.3% QoQ in Q1 to 397 from 283 in 2018.

Yishun came second place with a 34.2% growth to 326 from 243, followed by Choa Chu Kang at 26% to 213 from 169 and Bukit Panjang at 25.9% to 175 from 139.

Prices of standard HDB flats had moderated across the three, four and five-room types in Woodlands, Jurong West, Hougang and Bukit Batok for Q1.

OrangeTee & Tie also observed the only double-digit price increase (11.7%) for five-room standard flats in Punggol. Prices rose on a quarterly basis across three, four and five-room for standard flats in Choa Chu Kang and Punggol in the quarter.
