Completed condo prices gain at slower 0.7% pace in June

Price hikes were at 1.6% in May.

Private condo prices eased to a growth of 0.7% MoM in June from a hike of 1.6%, according to the Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI) of the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Prices for small units area led the hikes at a price rise of 1.1%. Meanwhile, prices of condos outside the Central Area cooled down to an increase of 0.8% from 1.4% in May.

In the Central Area comprising of Districts 1 to 4 and 9 to 11, condo prices rose 0.4% which is a slowdown compared to the 2% growth in May.

Year-to-date, prices for the overall market are up 4.2 per cent, led by 4.6 per cent increases in the non-central region and in small units.

Year-on-year prices have risen 9.2 per cent, driven by a 9.4 per cent increase in the central region and a 9.0 per cent gain in the non-central region.
