Private condo prices rose 1.5% in May

Prices of condo units in the Central area gained 1.8%.

Private home prices rose 1.5% MoM in May, according to the Singapore Residential Price Index (SRPI) of the National University of Singapore (NUS).

Properties in the Central area comprising of Districts 1 to 4 and 9 to 11 rose 1.8% from a decline of 0.2% in April whilst prices of those outside the Central gained 1.3% from a steady rate in April. Meanwhile, small units reflected a 1.2% gain from a slip of 0.3% in April.

The SRPI is the index for the overall non-landed residential market in Singapore based on the whole SRPI property basket.
