Condo rents inch down 1% in March

Rents in all regions reported declines.

Condo rents in Singapore got cheaper in the past month, down 1% compared to rents in February.

This came as rents in CCR, RCR, and OCR decreased by 1.2%, 1.3%, and 0.7% respectively.

According to SRX Property, rents in March 2017 were down by 3.9% from March 2016. In individual sectors, CCR, RCR, and OCR posted 3.9%, 3.7%, and 4.1% year-on-year declines, respectively.

Compared to the peak in January 2013, rents were down 19.1% in March.
