HDB launches over 7,500 flats in November sales exercise

Including the first housing project in Tampines North.

The Housing and Development Board (HDB) today launched 7,568 flats for sale in a mix of mature and non-mature towns under the November Build-to-Order (BTO) and the Sale of Balance Flats (SBF) exercise.

The flats offered include the first housing project in Tampines North, which will also feature the first Three-Generation flats in a mature town.

HDB will offer 4,277 BTO flats spread across six projects in the non-mature towns of Sembawang, Sengkang and Yishun, and the mature town of Tampines.

Tampines GreenRidges, the first housing development in Tampines North, will be offered for sale.

This launch brings the total BTO flat supply in 2014 to 22,455 units, in line with HDB’s goal to launch 22,400 BTO flats for sale this year.

Together with the 6,674 balance flats offered under the May and November 2014 SBF exercises, HDB has offered a total of 29,129 flats for sale in 2014.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
