Hotel Properties narrows H1 losses to $4.9m with improved revenue

Revenue for the period rose 8.9%.

Hotel Properties reported that it narrowed its H1 2024 losses to $4.9m, down from $17.2m in H1 2023.

Revenue for the period rose 8.9% to $347.9m compared to $319m a year ago.

Gross profit also increased from $78.3m in H1 2023 to $82.3m in H2 2024, whilst profit before tax was $2.2m, compared to a loss before tax of $8.9m.

This growth was driven by better performance by the majority of the company’s hotels and resorts as well as the opening of Six Senses Kanuhura Maldives.

Loss per share stood at $0.0162.
