Prestige landed home sales volume drops 44% in H2 2024

There were 37 deals transacted in H2 2024.

Sales of landed properties valued over $10m declined 44% in H2 2024 with only 37 deals valued at $514m transacted compared to the 64 deals valued at $919m in H1 2024, PropNex reported.

According to PropNex, the decline could be attributed to several factors, including the mismatch in price expectations between sellers and buyers.

Notably, lower-priced prestige landed home transactions, or those priced between $10m and $15m accounted for 73% of total deals in H2 2024, up from 72% in H1 2024.

Meanwhile, there were no transactions priced above $30m in 2H 2024.
