Two Cairnhill Road freehold sites, Cairnhill Mansions and 67 Cairnhill Road, have been put up for public tenders for prices of $115m and $362m, respectively.

According to CBRE, the combined site area is around 62,903 sqft and has an 80 metres wide frontage on Cairnhill Road. The subject site will be able to capitalize from the potential 36-storey height.

Cairnhill Mansions, priced $2,101 psf ppr, sits on a freehold site with land area of approximately 43,103 sqft. The maximum allowable gross floor area (GFA) of the site is approximately 156,581 sqft.

Cairnhill Mansions is an 18-storey block sitting on a car park podium, comprising 61 apartments.

The Newton MRT stations, which is the Interchange Station for the North-South Line (NS21) and Downtown Line (DT11), are located 400m away.

With a combined allowable GFA of approximately 233,223 sqft, the new development can accommodate up to 308 units with an average size of 70 square metres.

Meanwhile, 67 Cairnhill Road is an elevated freehold site of approximately 19,800 sqft. It has a GFA or 60,984 sqft.

The site has a development charge of $20.7m and is priced $2,225 psf ppr.

The public tenders for the two sites will close at 3 p.m. on 12 December 2017.
