UOL sells 53% of Upperhouse units during private preview

UOL Group Limited sold 53% of the units of its luxury residential development, Upperhouse at Orchard Boulevard.

The units were sold at an average of $3,350 per square foot (psf). 

UOL also reported that the 31 units in their Bespoke Collection saw a healthy 30% take-up, with a high-floor unit transacted at about $7.66m or around $3,724 psf. 

Yvonne Tan, Chief Corporate & Development Officer of UOL, said that Upperhouse was the firm’s “active participation in the rejuvenation of the Orchard Road precinct.”

“We believe buyers see very strong upside and value proposition to secure a unit at Upperhouse at Orchard Boulevard for two reasons – the price gap between CCR and RCR is at its closest, and the price differential between freehold and leasehold for high-end luxury products is at its most attractive,” Tan said. 

Anson Lim, Senior General Manager for Residential Marketing of UOL, said that the strong sales over the private preview booking reinforced the appeal of the development to both owner-occupiers and long-term investors. 

“Almost all of our buyers are Singaporeans and permanent residents, many of whom were drawn to the Orchard Boulevard address, direct MRT access, efficient layouts, and attractive price quantum for a development in this Orchard Road location,” Lim said.
