URA puts West Coast Vale residential site up for grabs

The site can potentially yield up to 520 residential units.

The Urban Redevelopment Authority has launched a new residential site for sale by public tender under the Confirmed List of the 2nd half 2016 Government Land Programme.

Situated at the West Coast Vale, the 16,378.3sqm site is set to potentially yield about 520 units. URA is offering the said site on a 99-year leasehold.

"Future residents will enjoy greenery as the land parcel is next to the park connector along Sungei Pandan, part of the Southern Ridges Loop linking to Bukit Batok Nature Park and Pandan Reservoir," URA said.

More so, the land parcel is near to commercial amenities such as Westgate, Jem and Big Box at the Jurong Lake District. The future development is ideal for families with school-going children as it is near Nan Hua Primary School, Commonwealth Secondary School and The Japanese School.

The tender for the land parcel will close on February 9, 2017.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
