CapitaLand teams up with American Express to launch multi-mall loyalty credit card

Over 2000 retailers will benefit.

In a bid to boost shopper traffic and increase sales, CapitaLand has tied up with American Express to launch Singapore's only multi-mall loyalty card.

More than 2,000 retailers in 15 participating CapitaLand malls will also stand to benefit from the companies’ combined efforts to drive shopper traffic, increase sales and
encourage repeat spending.

The American Express CapitaCard rewards shoppers for spending within and outside the 15 participating CapitaLand malls.

"This partnership creates a win-win ecosystem to benefit both our shoppers and retailers – the more people shop with us, the more we understand them and the better we can serve their needs and aspirations,” said Jason Leow, CEO, CapitaLand Mall Asia.

CapitaCard members will receive a welcome bonus of 20,000 STAR$® when they make their first successful transaction with a minimum eligible spend of S$1. CapitaCard members who spend at least S$888 within the first six months will earn another bonus of 30,000 STAR$®.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
