Check out how much fast food outlet and restaurant sales dipped

SingStat released July data on retail sales and receipts of F&B services.

Month-on-Month Change (Seasonally Adjusted)
After seasonal adjustment, receipts of fast food outlets, restaurants and food caterers declined between 1.4% and 3.1% in July 2012 over June 2012. Receipts of other eating places (such as cafes and canteens) registered a 0.2% decrease over the same period.

Year-on-Year Change
Compared to July 2011, food caterers recorded a 6.2% increase in receipts in July 2012. Turnover of restaurants and other eating places also rose 2.8% and 0.9% respectively. On the other hand, turnover of fast food outlets decreased 3.8% in July 2012 over July 2011.
