Shopee offers initiatives to help sellers with delivery, banking, and cashback

The e-commerce platform increased vouchers to help raise sales.

Online commerce platform, Shopee Singapore, launched key initiatives to boost retailers' sales performance.

This includes next-day delivery which is available to selected retailers. NDD helps businesses by providing users greater certainty on delivery arrangements and supporting buyers’ urgent purchases.

Next is the coins cashback programme where the priority platform vouchers and daily vouchers were increased under the coins cashback programme. Shopee also offers preferential shipping rates for local retailers.

Sellers can also use MariBank’s business banking suite to back business growth. Mari Business Loan offers sellers a ready cash line to meet evolving business needs. Mari Business Account offers sellers a competitive interest rate of 2.5% p.a., without additional costs and fees to operate their accounts.

The last initiative is the 30% vouchers applied to all products sold on Shopee Live from 8 pm to 11 pm everyday, sellers can take advantage of a growing livestream audience and engage buyers in real-time under this new livestream campaign.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

The people you want to reach are already in this room.

Every quarter, SBR lands on the desks of the founders, CFOs, and directors running Asia's most consequential companies. Every day, they open our newsletter and read our website. It's a room that took twenty years to build — and it's the one most of our partners are trying to get into.

The good news is that the door is open. We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
