STX Pan Ocean inks USD60 mln shipbuilding contract

Three platform supply vessels are expected to be delivered by 2012 and 2013.

STX Pan Ocean Co., Ltd. on Friday said it has entered into a shipbuilding contract on 12 August 2010 to construct three platform supply vessels (PSVs) for an amount of USD160 million, according to an announcement from the company.

The construction of the PSVs is said to extend STX’s diversification into new business.
