Cosco bags two contracts worth $216.3m

From two European customers.

Mainboard-listed COSCO Corporation today revealed that it has clinched two contracts worth a total of $216.3m (US$160m).

COSCO Shipyard has secured a contract from a European company to build a 152,000 DWT shuttle tanker. The shuttle tanker is scheduled for delivery in the 1st quarter of 2017.

Separately, an option to build one 21,000 DWT module carrier for a European company has been rendered effective, following a similar contract in September 2013.

The delivery of the module carrier is scheduled in the 1st quarter of 2017.
