Singtel launches ultra-fast broadband service for online gaming

It has a dual network for gaming and regular internet usage.

Singtel unveiled an ultrafast broadband service specifically for online gaming as it is bundled exclusively with the Razer Sila gaming router, an announcement revealed.

The 1+1 Gbps Fibre Pro Gamer Bundle also comes with a subscription to WTFast Gamer Private Network service, which enables gamers to automatically link to the fastest gaming servers.

Priced at S$69.90 per month on a 24-month contract, the 1+1 Gbps Fibre Pro Gamer Bundle features a dual network that comprises a 1Gbps dedicated bandwidth for gaming and another 1Gbps bandwidth for regular internet usage.

“Online gaming is extremely popular with our customers,” Singtel CEO for consumer Singapore and group chief digital officer Yuen Kuan Moon said. “This requires high connectivity performance and specialised devices to optimise the gaming experience.”

Razel Sila which has a router designed and optimised for gaming as it allows access to multiple data channels will debut in Asia through Singtel customers.
