Singtel rolls out cybersecurity service for businesses

It aims to reinforce Singapore as a safe hub for businesses.

In the continuing battle against cyber threats, Singtel teams up with security company Palo Alto Networks to develop Singtel Managed Advanced Threat Prevention (ATP) service for organisations in the Asia Pacific.

In a statement, Singtel said the service aims to prevent cyber threats by monitoring, isolating and preventing any suspicious applications from breaching organization's networks or endpoint devices.

More so, the service provides organisations with insights on the threats to guide them build security measures.

The Managed ATP operates on the Palo Alto Networks Next-Generation Security Platform and is delivered Singtel’s Singapore Advanced Security Operations Centre (ASOC), which monitors advanced cyber threats globally and helps protect organisations against sophisticated malicious cyber attacks.

Overall, Singtel's cyber security expertise is bolstered by 2,000 security professionals worldwide, including its elite SpiderLabs cyber response team.

Bill Chang, Chief Executive Officer, Group Enterprise at Singtel said this is a holistic and preventive approach towards cyber threats.

“Together with our Trustwave managed security service, the trained cyber security experts at our Advanced Security Operations Centre can forestall cyber attacks and use the information of any neutralised malware to update our global threat intelligence to benefit other regions,” he stressed.

He added, “in the long run, our Managed Security Service will strengthen organisations’ cyber defense and reinforce Singapore as a safe and vibrant business hub,” he added.

We work with companies on thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The shape of the right partnership depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If you have something this room should know about, tell us. We'll tell you honestly whether we can help, and how.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.
